CORE in Europe
To ensure UK corporations are accountable for their environmental and social impacts, action must not just be taken in the UK, but throughout Europe too. The Corporate Responsibility (CORE) Coalition is a member of The European Coalition for Corporate Justice (ECCJ) that represents a diverse range of civil society organisations from across Europe, campaigning for European wide change to ensure corporate accountability.
By working together at the European level, the members of ECCJ aim to develop a common vision of corporate justice, build capacity and knowledge among civil society organisations, and influence EU and nation state corporate accountability policies. ECCJ is led by a steering group composed of Friends of the Earth Europe, SOMO, IRENE, HIvos, Forum Citoyen pour la RSE, Manitese, Germanwatch, GARDE (Environmental Law Service) and Observatorio de la RSE.
