Established in 2000, the Centre for International Studies and Diplomacy (CISD) at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) is a research-driven unit committed to the promotion of excellence in scholarship and teaching.
The Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research was established in 1991 as networking institution which gathers and disseminates information about the practice and theory of social and environmental accounting and reporting.
The Centre was founded in 2001. It was set up
to address the key ethical issues of our time and is the first of its kind in the UK. The Centre is hosted
by the Philosophy department.
The Green Economics Institute brings together thinkers, activists, practioners, academics and policy makers, business people (where suitable), economists and campaigners, writers and opinion formers in order to educate and exchange information and ideas.
College is an international centre for ecological studies based in the beautiful Devonshire countryside of south-west England. The College welcomes participants aged 20 to 80 from all over the world.
The University of Manchester Students’ Union voted overwhelmingly in March 2006 to support The Corporate Responsibility (CORE) Coalition and in doing so became the first student union in the UK to officially support The Corporate Responsibility (CORE) Coalition.
