Newly elected Chair of the group Lisa Nandy was delighted with the success of the meeting and commented:
‘I look forward to working closely with my Parliamentary colleagues from all parties to raise awareness both in Parliament and in public of the timely and imporant issues surrounding international corporate responsibility.”
And her new colleague, Vice-Chair and first ever Green MP in the British Parliament, Caroline Lucas said
‘It is fantastic to be part of a Parliamentary group taking action on these vital issues and I look forward to making real progress.’
