CORE held a training session on access to documents and information, with Leigh Day.

The session focussed on information that becomes available in the course of litigation. In the morning, we covered background information on the litigation and disclosure process, the types of documents that may be available, the information they may include and how to access them, how hearings are recorded and accessing transcripts, and briefly, freedom of information & data protection. In the afternoon, we visited the Rolls Building to see how to obtain info on commercial cases, bankruptcy and the Technology & Construction Court, then went on to the Royal Courts of Justice for information on Queen’s Bench cases.
