Doing good business: challenges of corruption and accountability

The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Anti-Corruption, The All-Party Parliamentary Group on the Rule of Law and Traidcraft, Amnesty International, CAFOD and the CORE Coalition held a breakfast meeting in advance of the Anti-Corruption Summit. The Anti-Corruption Summit took place in London on 12 May, it offered an opportunity to reflect on the progress made in tackling corporate bribery and corruption, and to review outstanding areas which would tackle public loss of confidence in big business.

During the breakfast meeting speakers highlighted the limitations of prosecuting large complex companies for a range of serious harms and the need for changes in law to hold businesses accountable for their actions, in the UK and abroad.
